Colleen T. Little
District 211 Academy-North Program Administrator
As program administrator, Colleen Little has the primary responsibility for creating the proper environment for instruction and learning within the separate, therapeutic setting of District 211 Academy-North. She is responsible to the director of special education.
Mrs. Little received her bachelor of education degree in special education from Northern Illinois University in 1988 and her master of education in special education in 1993 from Northeastern Illinois University. She completed her school administration education and a Type 75 Administrative Certificate from Loyola University Chicago. Mrs. Little was appointed program administrator at Academy-North in July, 2009. She began her District 211 career as a special education teacher in 1989, was named special education department chair at Hoffman Estates High School in 1997 and assistant to the director of special education in 2006.
