Lynn Davis
Board of Education Member
Lynn Davis was elected to the Board of Education in April 1999 and was re-elected in 2003 and 2007. She served as Board vice president from April 2007 to April, 2009, and served as Board secretary from April 2003 to April 2005. Mrs. Davis serves as the Board bid representative and the Board representative to the special education co-operatives N.S.S.E.O. and L.I.C.A., as well as having served previously on the Board policy and facility committees. She has been recognized by the Illinois Association of School Boards with a “LeaderShop Academy” membership and as a “Master School Board Member.”
Mrs. Davis has worked for many years in companies and associations including United Airlines, BMW Auto Finance, and the Society of the Plastics Industry. She is currently working at a community hospital.
She has been a member of Phi Theta Kappa Junior College Honor Society since 1988. Mrs. Davis completed her associate’s degree in liberal arts from Harper College. In 2004, Mrs. Davis was nominated for a “Those Who Excel” award from the Illinois State Board of Education.
